This paper documents the work of CINDI which is a network of concerned organisations seeking to effectively respond to the growing numbers of children affected by HIV/AIDS in the city of Petermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal and its surrounds CINDI's vision is to be a multi-setoral, well-resourced network of civil society and government agencies, capable of implementing diverse, effective, sustainable care and preventative programmes for children affected or orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
