The Education and HIV & AIDS database shares information and documents on
Education and HIV & AIDS. It
is coordinated by the UNESCO office in Harare and seeks to address
information needs of governmental and non-governmental organisations,
teachers, researchers, university students and other individuals working
in the field of Education and
HIV & AIDS in Eastern and Southern Africa. In addition to
the online database, there is joint liaison with the HIV and AIDS
component of the Harare Documentation Centre, where several documents
can be consulted.

Currently, the database contains close
to 500 data entries related to education programmes, policy planning and
management, prevention and social support and impact mitigation, among
others. In addition, one can access related websites such as the
International Institute of Educational Planning (IIEP), the International
Bureau of Education (IBE) and many others.
To locate a document
You can search for a document by Author, Category,
Title, Keyword, and Coverage. A results page then
appears which shows you where the search found matches. Use the search
links below to select your option.
